FORGIVENESS
Facilitator Emily Berry (US)
Avaton Theatre, Athens, Greece

We all have stories, histories & experiences that are valuable resources for the communities we live and engage with. This was a community project in which I participated by sharing personal stories and performing in final sharing. The process was about interogating our understandings of forgivenes, in relation to ourselves and the others. This is part of a wider project which is taking place all around the world.

DAY OUT OF TIME
Facilitator Vitoria Kotsalou (GR)
Public Space, during Akropoditi Dance Festival 2015
Syros Island, Cyclades, Greece

Choosing a spot in a public place, I remained there from sunrise to sunset, dedicating the day to being in a state of dance. This process was about opening my senses, feeling the poetry both around and inside me.
This practice, explored the three levels of perception: personal, social & ecological, which are connected through dance.
The responses from the people who were passing by were just amazing !
